- Welcome and Introductions
Review Subcommittee Objective
Analyze, discuss and make recommendations, as relevant, to address concerns that have been raised about (1) the declining number of surveys returned by attorneys and litigant/witnesses; (2) reliability/accuracy in data collection and compilation.
Discussion Items
1. Analyze response rates from past years, identifying trend(s) if any; research results in other states -- if they are getting better results, why?
2. Research web-based survey processes and possibilities, including considerations of accessibility, confidentiality and assurances of 'unhackable' nature.
3. In addition to web-based survey issues and possibilities, identify and assess the viability of other methods of increasing response rates (e.g., collection methods such as locked receptacles in courthouses).
